We are seeking an experienced, mature-minded leader to join our Paralowie store as a Store Supervisor / Assistant Manager. This senior team role will suit someone with proven supervisory or management experience who can support our existing team, provide clear direction and assist with the day-to-day running of the store.

This is a hands-on leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys working with customers, developing staff and helping a busy hospitality store perform at its best. Working with the Operations Manager and alongside our existing team, you will provide practical leadership, guidance and support across all aspects of store operations.

About the Role

You will help coordinate daily operations, support team members and ensure our customers consistently receive friendly, efficient service.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Assisting with the day-to-day running of our Paralowie store.
- Leading shifts and providing clear direction during busy service periods.
- Supporting, motivating and coaching team members.
- Training new and existing staff in company procedures and service standards.
- Delegating tasks and following up to ensure they are completed correctly.
- Helping maintain consistent standards of customer service, teamwork and store presentation.
- Assisting with staff rostering and coordinating shift coverage.
- Providing constructive feedback and addressing day-to-day issues, with support from the Operations Manager.
- Managing stock levels, completing stock counts and organising store ordering.
- Ensuring opening, closing, register balancing and cash-handling procedures are followed.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food safety.
- Ensuring takeaway and online orders are prepared accurately and efficiently.
- Responding professionally to customer feedback and resolving concerns.




- Preparing and decorating gelato cakes when required.
- Completing store administration and communicating operational updates to the Operations Manager.

This is a practical leadership role. You will work alongside the team while taking responsibility for coordinating staff, maintaining standards and keeping the store running smoothly during your shifts.

Cake-making experience is not required, as full training will be provided. Good attention to detail, a willingness to learn and pride in presentation are essential.

- Flexibly available: Able to work daytime, evening and weekend shifts, including late nights and public holidays.

Consistent evening and weekend availability, including availability during the festive and summer periods, is essential.

Position Details

- Casual position initially, with the chance to progress into a full-time management role for the right applicant.
- Approximately 30–38 hours per week.
- Based at our Paralowie store.
- A mixture of weekday, daytime, evening and weekend shifts.
- Full training provided in company procedures and gelato cake preparation.

Pay: $52,880.00 – $80,280.00 per year
