Highly Skilled Motherboard Repair Technician — Phones & LaptopsLocation: Eastgardens, SydneyIn-store position | 5–6 days per week

We are looking for a highly skilled repair technician with extensive experience in iPhone, Samsung and laptop motherboard repairs.

You must be confident diagnosing complex faults and completing board-level repairs independently. Experience with screen and battery replacements alone is not sufficient.

Key responsibilities

- Diagnose and repair motherboard faults on iPhones, Samsung phones and laptops.
- Perform precision microsoldering, component replacements, connector repairs and damaged track repairs.
- Troubleshoot no-power faults, short circuits, charging issues and liquid damage.
- Use schematics, boardview software, microscopes, multimeters and DC power supplies.
- Complete general phone and laptop repairs when required.
- Thoroughly test repaired devices and maintain high standards of workmanship.




- Keep accurate repair notes and communicate progress and timeframes.
- Handle customer devices and data responsibly.

Requirements

- Proven experience in iPhone, Samsung and laptop board-level repairs.
- Excellent microsoldering and diagnostic skills.
- Ability to work independently in a busy retail workplace.
- Reliable, organised and attentive to detail.
- Available to work in store at Eastgardens 5–6 days per week, with hours and roster agreed upon appointment.
