Front of House Supervisor / Shift Leader

Alice’s Kitchen/D1 Korean Table – Oaklands Park, SA

We are a Korean restaurant in Oaklands Park that has recently undergone a complete renovation and menu upgrade. We are looking for an experienced Front of House Supervisor / Shift Leader to join our team and help manage daily front-of-house operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the FOH team during service
- Open and close the restaurant independently
- Welcome guests, arrange seating and provide professional service
- Coordinate dine-in, takeaway and delivery-platform orders
- Manage bookings and respond to customer enquiries
- Prepare and serve drinks and alcoholic beverages
- Handle payments, cash reconciliation and end-of-day procedures
- Train new employees and maintain FOH service standards
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen team
- Handle customer complaints and issues during service
- Keep the dining area,



bar and service stations clean and organised
- Complete opening and closing checklists

Requirements

- At least one year of restaurant or hospitality experience is required
- Previous supervisory or shift leader experience is preferred
- Ability to lead a FOH team during busy service periods
- Reliable, responsible and well organised
- Solid English communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Experience using POS systems and delivery platforms
- Availability for evening and weekend shifts
- A valid RSA certificate
- Experience in a Korean or Asian restaurant is preferred but not essential

Pay: From $34.00 per hour
