Aged Care Cleaners & Laundry Attendants – Vaucluse NSW

About the Role
We are looking for reliable, hardworking and motivated Cleaning and Laundry Attendants to join our team at an aged care facility located in Vaucluse, NSW.
We have positions available in both Cleaning and Laundry, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday shifts in a friendly and supportive working environment.
The successful candidates will play an important role in maintaining a clean, safe and hygienic workplace for our residents, staff and visitors.
Applicants must be available to work their allocated shifts consistently.
Key Responsibilities
Cleaning Attendant:
- Cleaning and sanitising residents' rooms, bathrooms and communal areas.
- Vacuuming, mopping, sweeping and dusting.
- Cleaning and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
- Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately.
- Replenishing cleaning supplies and consumables.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the facility.
- Following infection control and workplace safety procedures.
Laundry Attendant:
- Washing, drying, folding and sorting residents' clothing, linen and towels.
- Operating commercial washing machines and dryers.
- Ensuring residents' laundry is handled with care and returned correctly.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and hygienic laundry area.
- Following infection control and workplace safety procedures.
Requirements
- Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physically capable of performing cleaning or laundry duties.
- Previous cleaning, laundry or aged care experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Willingness to follow hygiene, infection control and workplace safety procedures.
- Ability to consistently work the required shifts.
