Chef / Cook Wanted – Café | Gold Coast

A chef for 5 days a week and a chef for 2! :)

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and passionate Chef or Cook to join our café team on the Gold Coast.

The ideal candidate will be confident working in a fast-paced café environment, preparing high-quality meals and maintaining consistency during busy breakfast and lunch services.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook breakfast and lunch menu items to a high standard.
- Manage food preparation and ensure efficient kitchen operations.
- Maintain consistency in food quality, presentation and portion sizes.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
- Monitor stock levels, minimise food waste and assist with ordering.
- Work efficiently during busy service periods.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure smooth service.

Requirements

- Previous experience as a Chef or Cook in a café or similar hospitality environment.
- Confident preparing breakfast and lunch dishes.




- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management and organisational skills.
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Reliable, punctual and professional.
- Positive attitude and a genuine passion for food.
