Temporary Part-Time (0.6 FTE) – 31 October 2026 to 26 February 2027

Salary: RN/M1 $79,381 – $108,311 p.a. (pro rata)

Limestone Coast Local Health Network is inviting Expressions of Interest from suitably qualified and experienced SA Health employees for a temporary Registered Nurse/Midwife Level 1 position within the Outpatients Department at Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service.

This opportunity offers the chance to contribute to secure, high-quality, person-centred nursing care while working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to support positive outcomes for patients and their families.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care, including assessing patient needs, planning, implementing and evaluating appropriate care.

- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure effective communication with patients, families and healthcare professionals.

- Recognise and respond appropriately to changes in patient conditions, escalating clinical concerns in accordance with established procedures.

- Participate in quality improvement activities,



patient education and professional development to support safe and effective clinical practice.

Essential Requirements:

- Current registration, or eligibility for registration, as a Nurse and/or Midwife with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.

- Demonstrated competence in nursing and/or midwifery practice, with effective communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
