About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support NDIS participants to live independently, develop life skills, achieve their personal goals, and actively participate in their communities.

Your responsibilities may include:

- Supporting participants with daily living activities and personal care.
- Assisting with community access, social outings and recreational activities.
- Encouraging independence, confidence and the development of everyday life skills.
- Supporting participants in Supported Independent Living (SIL) environments.
- Assisting with meal preparation, household tasks and daily routines.
- Building positive and respectful relationships with participants and their families.
- Following individual support plans and maintaining accurate progress notes.

Requirements

- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or willingness to obtain).
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card), where required.
- Current First Aid and CPR certificates (or willingness to obtain).
- Valid driver's licence.
- Previous disability support experience is desirable but not essential.

- First Aid Certification (Preferred)
