We are seeking a reliable, hard-working Trades Assistant to support our blinds installer with day-to-day onsite work. This role suits someone who enjoys hands-on tasks, takes pride in their work, and can deliver excellent service in customers’ homes.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist installer with the safe installation of blinds, shutters and window-furnishings
- Use hand and power tools confidently and safely
- Lift, carry and hold materials and products (some heavy items)
- Maintain a clean, organised work environment including vehicle and tools
- Represent the company professionally while working inside clients’ properties
- Follow all safety procedures and instructions from the lead installer

Skills & Requirements

- Experience with hand and power tools (drills, impact drivers, levels, etc.)




- Physically fit, energetic and able to lift/carry heavy items
- Presentable, polite and customer-focused
- Reliable, punctual and able to follow instructions
- Current driver’s licence
- White card (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $35.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38.0 – 45.0 per week

Experience:

- trades assistance: 1 year (Preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Manual Driver Licence (Required)
