About Greenhills

Greenhills is a not-for-profit group accommodation facility, located just 10 minutes from the Molonglo Valley area. We support school and community groups by providing accommodation, catering and activities in a beautiful bush setting.

We are looking for reliable, motivated and practical people to join our friendly team as Cleaners / Housekeepers, with positions commencing in January 2027. Some initial shifts and training may be available in late 2026 for the right applicants.

We understand that everyone has different commitments, and we're happy to discuss mutually suitable working hours with the right person.

These roles may be ideal for someone with school-aged children who would like to work between school drop-off and pick-up, or for anyone looking for versatile part-time or casual work.

Flexibility is important, as our cleaning requirements vary depending on group bookings. However, we're keen to explore working arrangements that suit both you and Greenhills.

Shifts are generally a minimum of five hours and start between 8 am and 9 am on weekdays. Weekend work is rare and is not an expectation of these positions.

What we're looking for

The successful applicant will have:

- A positive, hands-on attitude and a willingness to pitch in wherever needed.
- Good attention to detail and pride in their work.
- A demonstrated track record of reliability and trustworthiness.
- An ACT Working with Vulnerable People registration,



or a willingness to obtain one.
- A current driver's licence and reliable transport, as public transport is not available to the site.

What you'll be doing

- Cleaning group accommodation rooms, including vacuuming, bathrooms and ensuites, mopping and general cleaning.
- Helping prepare rooms for arriving groups, including replenishing bathroom supplies and emptying bins.
- Undertaking more detailed or specialised cleaning when required.
- Assisting with other tasks as needed to help keep the centre clean, welcoming and ready for guests.

- Above-award pay rates, fortnightly pay and a first aid allowance.

Pay starts at $25–$35 per hour, depending on age and experience, plus applicable penalty rates, allowances and superannuation, in accordance with the applicable Hospitality Industry Award.

Start date: January 2027, with some training or initial shifts potentially available in late 2026. The start date is negotiable.
