Gold Star Therapy is a speech pathology clinic for children and their families in Bass Hill. We opened in April 2026. Families trust us and keep coming back. Our team has grown fast, and now we want to add OT.

We have the clients and we need an OT who brings the expertise and wants to lead it.

THE ROLE

This is not a generic OT job. You will lead our OT service. You will be the OT in the clinic, with real ownership of how OT works here.

- See children and families in our clinic and in homes and the community. Most of our clients are NDIS funded.
- Lead how OT works at Gold Star: your assessments, your resources and your processes.
- Work alongside our speech pathologists on shared clients, and teach the team what OT adds.
- Join weekly supervision and fortnightly team professional development.
- Set the standard for OT at Gold Star.

WHAT YOU GET

- Salary: $90,000 - $120,000 plus super and travel. The top of the range is for an experienced OT who wants to lead.
- Travel: kilometres reimbursed for mobile sessions.
- PD budget: $2,000 a year, plus 2 days of paid PD leave.
- Supervision and support: weekly supervision, plus time with the clinic owner and the team whenever you need it, not only on a set day.
- Team PD: fortnightly team professional development.
- Hybrid: clinic-based with mobile sessions. Fridays are versatile,



and if a morning session is near your home you can start from home.
- Hours: full-time is the goal. We will talk about permanent part-time, for example four days a week, for the right person.
- A team that makes time for each other. We love celebrating you. Birthdays and special occasions are appreciated here.

WHO YOU ARE

- An experienced OT, registered with AHPRA.
- Someone who wants to lead, and to take ownership of the OT service.
- Independent and coachable at the same time. You take the initiative, and you like feedback.
- Passionate about working with children and families.
- A bonus, not a requirement: Arabic. Many of our families speak it, and many do not. You can do this job with English only.

HOW WE WORK

We take the time to understand each child and each family. Our team books time with each other and with the owner, not only at weekly supervision. We would rather have a close team that talks than a clinic of people who run past each other.
