About the role

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Roof Plumber to join our team on a full-time, ongoing basis. Working under the direction of the supervisor, the successful applicant will install, maintain and repair metal roofing, wall cladding, flashings and rainwater goods, including gutters and downpipes, in accordance with technical drawings and job specifications. This is a hands-on trade position suited to a candidate who takes pride in accurate installation, quality workmanship and maintaining safe working practices.

Key duties and responsibilities

- Precisely measure, cut, and install various roofing materials.
- Identify, assess, and resolve roofing problems through effective repairs and maintenance.
- Work collaboratively with team members to deliver projects on schedule and to exceptional quality standards.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure work environment.
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain clear, professional communication with clients.




- Support ongoing improvements to enhance the quality and efficiency of roofing services.

Qualifications

- An AQF Certificate III with relevant on-the-job training, an AQF Certificate IV,
- At least three (3) years of relevant experience in roof plumbing or a closely related field as an alternative to formal qualifications.

- Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities for diagnosing and addressing roofing challenges.

- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all relevant regulations and industry standards

Hours and remuneration

This is a full-time position of approximately 38 ordinary hours per week, with overtime available. The remuneration for the role is $75,000 – $95,000 per annum, exclusive of superannuation, together with compulsory superannuation and any penalty rates, overtime and allowances payable under the Building and Construction General On-site Award 2020.
