Seeking Experienced Dog Grooming Business Partner

Prospect: Joint venture to establish a dog grooming salon and pet supplies shop
Location: Main Street, Croydon, Victoria

The opportunity

I have leased a two-level freehold commercial property on Main Street, Croydon, and am seeking an experienced dog grooming professional to partner with me in establishing a new dog grooming salon and pet supplies business.

I will bring the commercial premises, business planning, financial oversight and proposed startup investment of $50,000–$100,000, subject to an agreed business plan and final investment requirements.

I am looking for a capable grooming professional who can contribute industry expertise, operational leadership and, ideally, additional startup capital.

Proposed partnership

- My role: Business development, financial oversight, premises coordination, retail strategy and growth planning.
- Partner's role: Lead grooming operations, manage bookings and customers, maintain grooming standards and help develop the retail offering.
- Ownership: Subject to an agreed business plan and final investment requirements.

The partner's financial contribution, remuneration, equity allocation and responsibilities will be negotiated based on experience, capital invested and overall contribution.

Ideal partner

You will have established commercial dog grooming experience, strong customer relationships and the ability to run a grooming operation independently.

Previous salon management, staff supervision or business ownership experience would be advantageous.

An entrepreneurial mindset and a genuine interest in building a sustainable local business are essential.

Next steps

If you are an experienced groomer interested in establishing your own business with a financially and commercially minded partner, I would welcome a confidential discussion.

Please outline your grooming experience, current role, business ambitions and the contribution you would be comfortable making to a proposed joint venture.

Pay: $81,600.00 – $120,000.00 per year
