At NOVA Dental Implant Centre, we’re looking for enthusiastic and dedicated team members to join our Ramsgate practice. We have two exciting opportunities available:

- Part-Time Dental Assistant / Receptionist: 3 days per week, combining hands-on clinical assisting with front office and patient coordination duties.
- Full-Time Dental Assistant: A full-time clinical role supporting our clinicians and helping deliver an exceptional standard of patient care.

The Role

As a Dental Assistant, you’ll play an important role in supporting clinicians during surgical and general dental procedures, helping ensure the practice runs smoothly and patients feel comfortable and well cared for throughout their treatment.

For the part-time Dental Assistant / Receptionist position, you’ll also support front office operations, including welcoming patients, managing appointments and assisting with administrative tasks. This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys both clinical assisting and patient-facing reception work.

Working closely with clinicians and the wider team, you’ll contribute to the day-to-day operations of the practice while maintaining high standards of patient care, organisation and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

- Assisting clinicians during surgical and general dental procedures
- Preparing treatment rooms, instruments and materials for procedures
- Maintaining sterilisation, infection control and workplace hygiene standards
- Providing attentive patient care and support before, during and after treatment
- Maintaining accurate clinical records and documentation




- Assisting with stock management and day-to-day clinical operations
- Helping maintain a clean, organised and qualified clinical environment
- Working collaboratively with clinicians and the wider team to deliver a seamless patient experience

Additional responsibilities for the part-time Dental Assistant / Receptionist role:

- Welcoming patients and providing a warm, professional first impression
- Managing appointments, patient enquiries and general reception duties
- Supporting administrative tasks and maintaining accurate patient records
- Helping coordinate the flow of patients between reception and the clinical team

About You

You’re professional, approachable and team-oriented, with a genuine passion for patient care. You enjoy working in a busy clinical environment, take pride in your work and understand the importance of creating a positive experience for every patient.

- Experience in dental assisting, ideally within a general or surgical dental practice
- A strong understanding of infection control, sterilisation and clinical procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- A patient-first mindset and a commitment to high-quality care

For the part-time Dental Assistant / Receptionist role, previous reception or administration experience and confidence managing appointments and patient enquiries will also be highly regarded.
