About Crave N Go

Crave N Go is a growing dessert brand serving açaí bowls, waffles, desserts, drinks and other customer favourites. We are looking for an experienced, responsible and hands-on Dessert Shop Manager to oversee our Carlton store, lead the team and ensure the business operates smoothly.

This role is ideal for someone with hospitality or retail management experience who can take initiative, maintain high standards and confidently manage a busy store, including late-night trading.

Important: Our store may trade late into the night, with closing times as late as 1:00 am. Applicants must be comfortable working late-night shifts and completing all closing duties before leaving.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the day-to-day operation of the store and take responsibility for its overall performance.
- Lead, supervise and motivate staff to maintain a productive and professional team.
- Prepare and oversee the preparation of açaí bowls, desserts, waffles, drinks and other menu items.
- Deliver excellent customer service and handle customer complaints professionally.
- Manage opening and closing procedures, including shifts that finish as late as 1:00 am.
- Ensure all closing tasks are completed properly, including cleaning, sanitising, restocking, securing equipment and preparing the store for the next trading day.
- Organise staff duties, monitor performance and ensure employees follow company procedures.
- Monitor stock levels, manage inventory and arrange restocking when required.
- Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene, cleanliness and store presentation.




- Monitor POS transactions and online delivery orders through platforms such as Uber Eats and DoorDash.
- Minimise food waste and maintain appropriate portion control.
- Train new staff and ensure opening, closing and cleaning checklists are followed.
- Identify and resolve operational issues and report important matters to the business owner.
- Ensure the store remains organised and runs efficiently during busy periods, evenings and late nights.

What We’re Looking For

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Previous experience in hospitality, café, takeaway, dessert shop or retail management.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team and manage daily store operations.
- Comfortable completing closing procedures and ensuring the store is properly cleaned and secured before leaving.
- Reliable, punctual, organised and able to work independently.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- A positive attitude, strong work ethic and professional approach.
- Valuable understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements.
- Availability for evenings, weekends, public holidays and other rostered trading periods, as required.
- Confidence using POS systems and online delivery platforms.
- Reliable transport for late-night finishes is highly desirable.
