About the role




/n We are looking for a passionate Foodie and People Leader to join us as an Assistant Store Manager. /n /n Reporting to the Store Manager, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for providing support, direction and inspiration to the team members in their business. /n /n This includes communication of the company strategies and objectives as well as guidance and coaching around personal development, merchandising and store operating standards, customer service excellence and safety. /n /n In summary, our Store Management team is responsible for leading, motivating and developing the Kitchen Warehouse culture within their business so we can achieve the best experiences for our team and customers. /n /n

Key responsibilities
/n /n
- Ensure the team members deliver a fantastic customer experience /n
- Drive sales to achieve targets /n
- Have a strong understanding of rosters, wages and productivity /n
- Manage stock levels and inventory movement & loss prevention /n
- Manage team performance, development and engagement /n
- Maintain visual merchandising standards to company guidelines /n
- Manage all areas of store administration /n




- Be an advocate for the Kitchen Warehouse brand /n /n About you: /n We want our Store Management teams to feel empowered and to lead and inspire excellence from their teams and take them to the next level. /n /n You must have an ownership mentality, and thrive in an environment where your decisions play a key role in facilitating the execution of Kitchen Warehouse’s strategy. /n /n You will need sound judgement, be a outstanding coach and be able to influence through your communication skills. Being a team player, you will be a player-coach and lead by example working both on the shop floor and the warehouse where required. /n /n The ability to develop and motivate a cohesive and enthusiastic team will be vital in achieving our goals and aspirations. /n /n Position

requirements:

- Ability to drive high levels of team engagement /n
- Enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about our team and customer experience, home cooking and food /n
- Strong inventory experience and managing large volumes of stock /n
- Sound commercial acumen and the ability to read and interpret P&L; reports /n
- Organised with excellent time management skills /n
- Full Driver’s Licence /n
- Available to work retail trading hours /n
