As Senior Compliance Specialist, you’ll help Tabcorp turn complex regulatory obligations into practical advice, effective controls and informed business decisions. Based in our Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance team, you’ll focus on AML/CTF and related financial crime risks while working across a broad range of products, systems and customer activities.

Your Role In Action Reporting to the Head of Financial Crime Strategy & Compliance, you’ll support the development and ongoing improvement of Tabcorp’s financial crime compliance framework. You’ll work with teams across product, technology, customer operations and risk to identify emerging issues, assess change and strengthen how obligations are managed.

This is a senior advisory role where you’ll form views, provide clear guidance and help stakeholders make sound, risk-based decisions. You will:

Support financial crime risk assessments, including risks arising from new products, systems, technologies and customer types

Translate regulatory obligations and guidance into practical advice for business teams

Maintain and improve obligations, controls and governance processes

Monitor AML/CTF developments, emerging risks and AUSTRAC guidance

Contribute to compliance and transformation initiatives across the business

Prepare clear risk and governance reporting for senior management and Board forums

Support financial crime governance forums and follow through on key actions

What You’ll Need To Succeed You’re an experienced compliance or risk professional who can interpret requirements, assess their business impact and influence practical outcomes. You may have worked directly in financial crime, or in another regulated environment where you’ve built strong advisory, governance and control skills.

You’ll bring:

Experience in regulatory compliance, risk or assurance,



ideally in an advisory or second-line role

The ability to interpret obligations and turn them into explicit, workable business requirements

Experience assessing risks and improving controls, frameworks or governance processes

Confidence working with stakeholders across different business and technical teams

Strong judgement, written communication and the ability to present clear recommendations to senior audiences

An interest in financial crime compliance, with AML/CTF knowledge or experience highly regarded
