About the role We are seeking a

Experienced Kitchen Hand

to join our team on a

full-time basis

at our Malvern location. This is a hands-on position that plays a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations. As an Experienced Kitchen Hand, you will be responsible for maintaining efficient kitchen workflows, ensuring food safety standards are met, and assisting with food preparation tasks. Your contribution will be fundamental to ensuring our customers receive consistently high-quality products and service.

Key responsibilities

Prepare and portion ingredients for cooking and food assembly

Maintain cleanliness and organisation of work stations, equipment and kitchen areas in accordance with health and safety regulations

Operate and maintain kitchen equipment safely and effectively

Support the kitchen team with food preparation, plating and presentation tasks

Follow recipes and food preparation procedures to ensure consistency and quality

Manage kitchen waste and recycling appropriately

Assist with deliveries, stock rotation and storage of ingredients





Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards at all times

Work efficiently during peak service periods to meet production targets

Communicate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations

What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a Kitchen Hand or in a similar kitchen support role within a hospitality setting

Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards under pressure, particularly during busy periods

Physical capability to perform manual tasks, including standing for extended periods and lifting items regularly

Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Ability to work collaboratively as part of a kitchen team

Basic numeracy skills for measuring and portioning ingredients

A relevant food safety or hospitality qualification is desirable

Experience with sandwich preparation is advantageous
