Join us as we continue to lead the charge in the health and fitness space THE ROLE Reporting to our Creative Producer at our Brisbane HQ, this is an editing role for someone one to two years into their career who wants to cut a lot of video and improve quickly. You'll edit across everything we make. Short-form for TikTok and Instagram, paid social ads for Meta and TikTok, and campaign and product launch videos across activewear, supplements and food. Our in-house team shoots most of it, and you'll also work with footage from our athletes and creators, so your job starts when the footage lands. The work comes in two kinds, and you'll need to be good at both.
• Ads are built to sell. The first second matters most, and we cut several hooks and versions of each concept to find out which one works.
• Brand and social content is built to be watched and shared, and it has to look and feel like Muscle Nation. Knowing which one you're making, and editing it that way, is a big part of the job. You'll sit with the creative team, take briefs from the Creative Producer, Creative Strategist and Social Media Manager, and get feedback in person on the same day. We're not expecting a finished editor. We're looking for good instincts for pacing and sound, a tidy way of working, and someone who gets faster and sharper with every edit. TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Edit short-form video for TikTok, Instagram Reels and Stories from footage shot by our in-house team, athletes and creators
• Cut paid social ads for Meta and TikTok, including multiple hooks and variations of each concept for testing
• Edit campaign, product launch and collection drop videos to the creative team's brief
• Add captions, on-screen text,



simple motion graphics, music and sound design
• Colour correct and grade footage so it stays consistent across a campaign
• Re-cut and resize edits for each placement and ratio across paid social, organic, EDM, web and retail
• Work to briefs from the Creative Producer, Creative Strategist and Social Media Manager, and turn feedback around quickly
• Look at how your ads and posts performed with the paid and social teams, and use what you learn in the next edit
• Go back through footage we've already shot to find new ads and posts in it
• Keep project files, footage and exports organised and named properly, so anyone can open your project and pick it up
• Help out on shoot days when needed, so you know the footage before it reaches your timeline
• Keep across editing trends, sounds and formats, and bring ideas to the team EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
• One to two years editing video, whether in a role, freelance work, an internship or building your own channels
• Solid working knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro
• Some After Effects experience for captions, text animation and simple motion graphics
• Comfortable in CapCut for quick edits that look native to the feed
• A good understanding of how short-form video works on TikTok and Reels, including hooks, pacing and holding attention
• Basic colour grading and audio clean-up skills
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment with consistent turnaround times
• Interested in health and fitness
• Experience editing paid social ads is a bonus, as is being comfortable using AI tools to speed up your workflow
• A showreel or portfolio link is required with your application, and it needs to include short-form social work
