Role Description As a Termite and Pest Control Franchisee, you will manage your own pest control business under the Jim's Termite and Pest Control Queensland South brand in the Greater Brisbane, Gold Coast, Ipswich and Toowoomba Areas. This full time, on-site role involves inspecting properties for pest activity, diagnosing issues, and delivering effective treatments for a range of pests, with particular attention to termites and general pest control. You will communicate clearly with customers about treatment plans, safety measures, and follow-up requirements while maintaining accurate records of services and scheduling appointments. Daily tasks also include managing inventory and equipment, ensuring compliance with local regulations and health and safety standards, and building your client base through quality service and local networking.



Franchisees are expected to uphold brand standards and provide professional, courteous service at all times. Qualifications
• Demonstrated skills in Pest Control and Integrated Pest Management, including inspection, identification, treatment, and prevention of common household and commercial pests.
• Ability to apply PEST-related analysis or planning to understand environmental and regulatory factors affecting pest control operations.
• Strong Communication skills to explain treatment plans, safety instructions, and service options clearly to a wide range of customers.
• Basic Lawn Care knowledge to support outdoor pest management and property maintenance services where required.
• Relevant pest control licenses or certifications for Queensland (or willingness and eligibility to obtain them).
• Capacity to perform physical work, including lifting equipment, working in confined spaces, and operating in varied weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle suitable for carrying pest control equipment and supplies.
• Organizational and time-management skills to handle bookings, route planning, and record-keeping independently.
• Customer service mindset, with a focus on professionalism, reliability, and safety.
• Experience running a small business or franchise is an advantage but not mandatory; training and support can be provided.
