About the role
This is a hands-on role combining freight operations, quoting and customer service.

Key responsibilities
• Booking and coordinating local, regional and interstate freight
• Preparing freight quotes and responding to customer enquiries
• Selecting suitable carriers and transport solutions for each job
• Liaising with customers, drivers, carriers and depots
• Tracking deliveries and providing customers with updates
• Managing urgent deliveries and resolving transport issues
• Entering bookings and maintaining accurate job information
• Following up outstanding or delayed freight
• Assisting with general day-to-day transport operations
• Building solid relationships with our customers and transport partners Knowledge of local transport, pallet freight, regional distribution or interstate freight would be a strong advantage.
