About the Role
Our Riverina team is recruiting a full-time permanent Butcher. This is a unique opportunity to join a global organisation with a local community feel. The annual salary for this role is from $96,400 to $110,000 plus superannuation. Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:
• Boning out raw materials; e.g.
• (70% of work) Trimming
• Fat off product – different specs
• Frenching / bird caging
• Hand Portioning
• Prepping product then splitting in half i.e. spare ribs
• Bandsaw Operation About You
• Previous experience (ideally 2-3 years) and current working in the JBS team is preferrable
• Relevant qualification (Cert II/ III Meat Processing) advantageous but not essential
• Proven high level of knife sharpening skills
• Knowledge and understanding of Quality Requirements
