Would you like to use your musical talents to bring joy, comfort and meaningful moments to those who need it most? A Sound Life is looking for passionate, confident and compassionate musicians to join our volunteer community across Sydney. We bring live music into hospitals, disability services, aged care facilities and community settings, creating opportunities for human connection through the power of music. Whether you're a singer, guitarist, pianist or instrumentalist, we'd love to hear from you

What You'll Do
• Share live music with patients, residents and community members.
• Create meaningful moments of joy, comfort and connection through music.
• Engage with people from different backgrounds with kindness, sensitivity and compassion.
• Perform in a variety of healthcare and community settings across Sydney.
• Choose a volunteering commitment that suits your availability – weekly, fortnightly or monthly. Skills & Requirements
• Musical Proficiency: Confidently perform for at least 15 minutes on your chosen instrument or through singing.
• Connection & Communication: Be friendly, approachable and comfortable engaging with people from all walks of life.




• Compassion: Bring a positive, respectful and caring attitude to every session.
• Reliability: Be willing to commit to regular volunteering and communicate your availability.
• Compliance: Hold or be willing to obtain a current Police Check and Working with Children Check.
• Training: Complete our 1-hour online pre-training course and 4-hour volunteer training session before progressing to supported shadow sessions. You don't need to be a professional musician or have previous experience in healthcare. What matters most is your musical ability, your willingness to connect and your genuine desire to make a difference. What You'll Gain
