- Mental health resources and lifestyle discounts About the Health Centre Oakey Health Centre, located at the Army Aviation Centre (AAC) just 3 km outside Oakey, supports approximately 500 Defence personnel, all from an adult population. The standard operating hours are 07:00 – 16:30, Monday to Friday. What you’ll do




• Deliver high-quality mental health care to Defence members
• Conducting fitness-for-duty assessments and pre/post-deployment care.
• Undertaking assessments, interventions, formulating treatment and care plans for individuals and group education sessions
• Work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary clinical environment where patient wellness is paramount What you bring
• Unrestricted AHPRA general registration as a Psychologist
• Minimum two years’ Post Graduate experience within last five years in mental health within a Primary Healthcare Setting or Specialist Mental Health Setting
• Comprehensive assessment skills and experience in ‘Focussed Psychological Strategies’ and ‘Psychological Therapy’ as per Medicare Schedule
• Current CPR certification (HLTAID009)
• Australian Citizenship required for Baseline Security Clearance
