This is an excellent opportunity for candidates looking to gain experience within the banking sector while providing valuable support to branch operations during periods of staff leave and increased demand. Your new role As a Customer Service Officer, you will be the first point of contact for customers visiting the branch. You will provide professional service and support while assisting with a range of day-to-day banking transactions and enquiries.

Key responsibilities
include:
- Delivering high-quality face-to-face customer service
- Processing financial transactions and cash handling activities
- Assisting customers with account enquiries and banking services
- Supporting branch operations as required
- Building positive relationships with customers and colleagues
- Maintaining compliance with organisational policies and procedures

What you'll need
to succeed To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:




- Previous customer service experience in a retail, hospitality, banking or service-based environment
- Robust cash-handling experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive, team-focused approach
- Flexibility and reliability to work across multiple branch locations when required
- A willingness to work on an on-call casual basis with no guaranteed minimum hours
- Successful applicants will be required to complete a background screening and provide two professional references What you'll get in return
