A position is available in a busy Glass & Aluminium company in Byron Bay for a Receptionist. We are looking for a long term commitment and reliability from someone wanting to work in a friendly, busy environment. The initial 6 weeks will be part time / 3 days per week while transitioning to a full time position on the 30th November 2026.

On the job training is available with preference given to a person with experience within the glass industry.

The successful applicant must be reliable & honest and work well with others. We are looking for a long term employee.

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

Good communication skills both written & verbal

Good attention to detail

Excellent phone manner

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment (at times)

Accurate & quick data entry skills

Positive computer skills

Knowledge of social media avenues





Tradify software experience (preferable but not necessary)

A willingness to learn trade specific requirements

A neat & tidy appearance

Duties will include but are not limited to:

Assisting Office Manager & Director with reception duties

Answering phones & attending to emails

Scheduling of jobs

Management of Social Media

Confirming jobs with Clients

Ordering of materials

FilingGeneral office duties

Maintaining office presentation

This work environment is a relaxed and friendly, but often fast paced, one located in the Byron Arts & Industry Estate. We are looking for someone with experience in office procedures wanting a stable, long term position.
