About the role Mater Private Hospital Gold Coast is seeking a Enrolled Nurses to work within our Anaesthetics team on a

permanent part-time (24-32 hours per week) basis and casual basis . Mater has finalised the strategic acquisition of Healthscope’s Gold Coast Private Hospital, this is a significant milestone in Mater’s commitment to delivering exceptional and compassionate care to Queensland communities.

Based at our Gold Coast Campus, this role will be part of our state-of-the-art 339 bed facility located in Southport. This facility was established in 2016 and offers a wide range of specialities across Emergency, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastics, ENT, General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care and Oncology.

Salary range: $37.93 - $40.34 per hour

What you’ll be doing Working as part of our Anaesthetics team, you will support the delivery of high-quality perioperative care and contribute to positive patient outcomes across the department. You will:

Deliver delegated nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse within the Anaesthetics workplace

Support patients throughout the perioperative journey with a strong focus on safety, dignity, and compassionate care

Assist with patient preparation, procedural support, monitoring, and post-procedure activities within scope of practice

Collaborate closely with Anaesthetists, Registered Nurses, and the broader multidisciplinary team

Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to effective patient communication and education





Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold infection control and patient safety standards

Support team culture through collaboration, flexibility, and participation in ongoing learning and development

About you We are seeking motivated and team-focused Enrolled Nurses who are confident working within Anaesthetics and passionate about delivering exceptional patient care. You will bring:

Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA)

Minimum 12 months recent experience working within Anaesthetics as an Enrolled Nurse

Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a fast-paced perioperative environment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

Commitment to delivering patient-centred care aligned with Mater’s values and mission

Sound clinical judgement, attention to detail, and ability to prioritise workload effectively

A proactive approach to learning, professional development, and continuous improvement
