About the role You will work closely with our dentists and clinical team to help keep the surgery running smoothly and provide an excellent experience for our patients. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Chairside assisting

Preparing surgeries for treatment

Sterilisation and infection control

Instrument processing

Surgery changeovers between patients

Assisting with fillings, crowns, bridges, endodontics and extractions

Assisting with cosmetic and restorative procedures

Intraoral scanning and digital workflows

Maintaining stock and keeping surgeries organised

Supporting nervous or anxious patients





Helping the wider team and reception when required

Who we're looking for You don't need to know everything on day one, but you do need to be someone who is

reliable, organised and willing to take initiative . You will ideally have: Previous dental assisting experience

Strong communication and patient care skills

Good understanding of infection control

A professional and friendly manner

Ability to work efficiently in a busy workplace

Good attention to detail

A positive, team-focused attitude

Confidence working without needing constant direction

A

Certificate III in Dental Assisting

is desirable but not essential for an experienced candidate. Experience with intraoral scanners, digital dentistry or dental practice management software is an advantage. The person we're really looking for For us, attitude matters. We want someone who: Turns up on time and can be relied upon
