ABOUT THE ROLE

Join the Dendrobium Coal Preparation Plant (DCPP) team to help deliver quality coal products to local and export customers. Reporting to the Team Leader, you’ll work in a team to ensure safe, effective, and continuous plant performance by monitoring and adjusting the process, carrying out inspections and maintenance tasks as required. This is a rotating 12-hour (day/night) shift role, which includes weekends.

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to:

Inspecting plant equipment and monitoring coal preparation processes

Diagnosing and resolving plant performance issues





Performing routine mechanical maintenance and cleaning tasks

Using SAP to requisition spare parts and equipment

Conducting sampling and manual process adjustments

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following:

Working in a process or heavy industrial/manufacturing plant environment

Following safety standards and identifying non-conformances

Performing hands-on mechanical maintenance tasks

Using SAP for ordering or maintenance activities

You will require the following qualifications, skills, and competencies:

Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (Fitter) - Please note automotive mechanic, plant mechanic, diesel mechanic/fitter, pipe fitter qualifications will not be considered.
