Key Responsibilities

Diagnosemechanicalandelectronicfaultsusingappropriatetestinganddiagnosticprocedures

Assessvehicleperformanceandidentifythecauseofmechanicalissues

Carryoutrepairsacrossengines,transmissions,steering,braking,air-conditioningandwheelalignmentsystems

Completescheduledservicingandpreventativemaintenanceinlinewithmanufacturerservicerequirements

Inspectandrepairvehiclesaffectedbyaccidentsorotherdamage

Conductroadworthinessandsafetyinspectionstoensurevehiclesmeetrelevantstaterequirements

Maintainaccurateanddetailedrecordsofservicing,inspections,repairsandmaintenance

Workcloselywiththevehicleoperationsteamtokeepvehiclesavailableandreadyforcustomerbookings

Identifypartsandcomponentsrequiringreplacementandassistwithspare-partsinventorymanagement





Maintainanorganised,cleanandWorkSafe-compliantworkshop

Communicatetechnicalfindings,repairrecommendationsandestimatedcoststomanagement

Demonstrateconsistentattentiontosafety,qualityandworkmanship

Workefficientlybothindependentlyandaspartofaprofessionalteam

Requirements & Eligibility

Trade-qualifiedLightVehicleMechanicorequivalentrecognisedqualification

Minimum3yearsofrelevantprofessionalmotormechanicexperience

Demonstratedhands-onexperiencediagnosingandrepairinglightvehicles

StrongspokenandwrittenEnglishcommunicationskills

IELTSBand6orhigherpreferred

Currentandvaliddriver'slicence

Abilitytoaccuratelyinspectmechanicalandelectronicvehiclesystems

Strongdiagnostic,analyticalandproblem-solvingabilities

Excellentattentiontodetailandtime-managementskills

Abilitytomaintainaccurateserviceandrepairdocumentation

Abilitytocommunicatetechnicalissuesandproposedsolutionsclearlytomanagement

Strongcommitmenttoworkplacesafetyandvehicleroadworthiness

Abilitytoworkindependentlywhilecontributingeffectivelywithinateam
