This is not a desk job . You will spend your days outdoors, poolside and in the heart of the action. Whether it's sunshine, summer heat, a breezy afternoon or the occasional shower, you will be helping create unforgettable memories while keeping our guests safe at our world-class attractions.

Successful applicants will be certified with (fully funded by Dreamworld); - Internationally recognised Lifeguard qualification - HLTAID015 (express) – Provide advanced resuscitation and oxygen therapy - HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid

Valuable experience in safety, customer service and emergency response

Casual hourly rate - $35.55 (Junior rates apply for U18's)

As a Lifeguard you will:

Monitor attractions and water slides to maintain a secure environment

Deliver outstanding guest service with every interaction

Respond confidently in emergency situations

Apply First Aid and Advanced Resuscitation skills

Follow safety procedures and work closely with your team to keep the park operating smoothly





What we are looking for

We are looking for candidates aged 16 + that are positive, reliable team players who thrive in a fast-paced environment. You'll need:

A passion for customer service and working with people

Great communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure

A high level of physical fitness and confidence in the water

The ability to swim 200 metres continuously in under 6 minutes; and

tread water for two minutes without using your hands

Flexibility to work weekends, school holidays, public holidays and peak periods

A current paid Queensland Blue Card

No Lifeguard qualification? No worries

If you are successful, we will provide and pay for your internationally recognised Lifeguard qualification before you hit the pools.
