ETS is looking to hire a skilled, qualified, and motivated

Mechanic

to join our dynamic fleet services team. This is a workshop role based at our Townsville workshop, with occasional field work/breakdown works.

Your day will consist of an interesting variety of work including:

Undertaking service and repairs on our fleet of trucks, utes, EWP’s, chippers & small plant

Attending to breakdowns & repairs

Carrying out inspections in a timely manner to required standards

Maintaining a safe & clean work area

Skills & Experience:

Knowledge and experience working on diesel trucks and hydraulic equipment is preferred

Ideally you will have a technical and practical understanding of EWP’s, utes, chippers and vegetation maintenance equipment.

Good communication skills and the ability to accurately complete work-related documentation is essential.

Proven ability to work unsupervised, autonomously and in a team environment

A strong commitment to safety, health & environment procedures.

Salary Package includes:

Circa $50 per hour in line with your skills and experience, plus overtime paid at penalty rates

12% Super

Optional Monthly RDO (rostered day off)
