Catering HQ is seeking a passionate Junior Pastry Chef to join our growing kitchen team at Catering HQ Wholefoods production kitchen. If you have the passion to grow your career, this is the opportunity for you.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Prep, baking, cutting and presentation of products

Demonstrate a keen interest in growing food trends and techniques

Strong emphasis on quality and consistency of dishes

Ability to handle large service numbers providing desserts for all venues





Exceptional knowledge of food safety, hygiene and WHS

Contribute to the team and assist colleagues with meeting deadlines

Confidence to put forward new ideas and humble enough to listen and learn

Immaculate presentation and grooming

KEY QUALITIES

1 years’ experience in a similar position is preferred but not crucial

Be flexible with working hours - Shifts are 2pm until 10pm

A team spirit, bright and positive demeanour

Hard working and shows initiative

Able to read recipe cards and follow accurately
