Litigation Lawyer | 2-6 PAE | Real Files, Early Responsibility | Sydney Our client is a national litigation firm that would rather give a talented lawyer real files early than keep them in the review room. Its NSW team is looking for a Litigation Lawyer with 2 to 6+ years' PQE, predominantly in litigation, who wants responsibility, court exposure and a rapid-moving practice.

About the role

You will own a caseload from early on, with senior leadership close by for the more complex matters. You will:

Run litigation matters from first instructions through to resolution





Manage pleadings, evidence, interlocutory steps and hearings

Work across commercial, general, insolvency, insurance and building and construction disputes

Advise clients on strategy, prospects and risk at each stage of a dispute

Take on more responsibility as your capability grows

What you'll bring

2 to 6+ years' PQE, predominantly in litigation

Knowledge of the practice and procedure of the NSW and Federal courts

Hands-on experience managing and running litigation matters

Admission to practise in Australia and a current practising certificate

Favourable, not essential: experience in insolvency, insurance, building and construction, or general and commercial litigation

Favourable: experience with disputes in the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal

Additional information

$140K - $180K + super, set by experience
