A Day in the Life of an OSHC Educator…

Provide warm, nurturing care for children across before school and after school

Create a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for all

Design and deliver fun, inclusive recreational and educational experiences

Maintain positive working relationships with all team members

Work collaboratively within an established team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families

Join exciting excursions and special events during vacation care

Feel proud to come to work knowing you're making a real difference in children's lives every day

Job Requirements:

A qualification in Children's Services (Certificate III, Diploma, or ACECQA equivalent) is highly regarded but not essential

Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications (or willingness to obtain)

Hold a current Queensland Blue Card (Working with Children Check)

Mandatory Child Protection (Geccko)



Course 1 & 2 — Course 3 & 4 optional but highly regarded

Knowledge and understanding of the National Quality Framework, My Time Our Place framework, and National Law/Regulations (or ability to acquire)

Some experience in the education and care of children is desirable

Effective oral and written communication skills within the workplace
