Bridal Sewing Machinist
- Couture Wedding Gowns

You'll be making Bridal gowns from start to finish alongside our pattern makers, cutters, hand finishishers and machinists
- silks, laces, corsetry, beading and fine finishing. No production lines. You'll see each dress through to the bride.

Key responsibilities
Make gowns from start to finish in bridal, eveningwear, or couture Work with delicate fabrics: silk, satin, chiffon, tulle and lace Perform corsetry work Deliver high standard finishing Read and follow production sheets and work to a spec Work alongside pattern makers and machinists About you Solid machining experience in bridal, eveningwear, or couture Confidence with delicate fabrics: silk, satin, chiffon, tulle and lace High standard of finishing, and the patience the work asks for Ability to read and follow production sheets and work to a spec Some experience with corsetry Warm,



reliable way of working in a small team Right to work in Australia $45-$60 per hour, depending on experience Full-time hours, with flexibility around start and finish times Light-filled, open workroom with all recent machines Friendly, experienced team, and design work that changes constantly All overtime paid for Chippendale location, a 10-minute walk from Redfern Station Highly organized work flow
