We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Piggery Attendant to join our team at our Wasleys, South Australia site.

Job Description About the Role: This is a full-time position offering stable, ongoing employment within an established Australian agricultural business.

Working as part of our piggery team, you will assist with the day-to-day care and management of our livestock while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity, hygiene and workplace safety.

Roster:

Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 3:26pm

Every second Saturday and Sunday: 7:00am – 1:00pm

Full-time ongoing position

Your Key Responsibilities: Your duties will include:

Providing daily care and monitoring of pigs

Feeding and checking livestock

Monitoring animal health and welfare

Cleaning pens, sheds and equipment

Assisting with general piggery and farm duties





Maintaining high standards of hygiene and biosecurity

Following animal welfare and workplace health and safety procedures

Working closely with the site team to ensure daily tasks are completed safely and efficiently

About You: Previous piggery, livestock or agricultural experience would be highly regarded; however, we are also interested in hearing from reliable candidates who are willing to learn.

To be successful, you will:

Be comfortable working around pigs and in a livestock environment

Be physically fit and capable of performing hands‑on duties

Be reliable and able to commit to the required roster, including every second weekend

Have a positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team

Have a strong focus on animal welfare and safety

Have reliable transport

Be willing to complete a pre‑employment medical, including drug and alcohol testing
