Responsibilities

- Leads, inspires and motivates the Solar Australia estimating department of approximately 7-8 direct and indirect reports, including day-to-day direction, workload planning, resource forecasting and pursuit team assignments, performance management, coaching and development.
- Has ultimate accountability for completeness, accuracy, quality and timely submission of all estimates, budgets, RFP/RFQ responses and tender deliverables, including required internal reviews, approvals and bid-closing requirements
- Leads estimate development and validation across labour, equipment, materials, subcontractor and supplier pricing, construction management costs and market rates; challenges assumptions and makes clear recommendations on final estimate values and commercial positions that directly influence business outcomes.
- Directs the detailed review and analysis of contract documents, drawings and specifications for utility-scale solar and BESS projects to confirm scope, pricing requirements, schedule, risk allocation, insurance and security obligations, and other project requirements; ensures material risks and opportunities are quantified and addressed.
