The business delivers a diverse range of commercial and residential construction projects, insurance building repairs, emergency works, project management and facilities maintenance across Victoria and Recent South Wales.

About the Role

This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced construction professional who enjoys being on site, leading trades and getting involved in the work when required.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and coordinate trade teams to deliver high-quality construction works safely and efficiently.
- Manage daily site activities, priorities, resources and operational issues.
- Work hands-on alongside the team when required to support project delivery.
- Monitor project budgets, identify variances and take corrective action to maintain cost control.
- Identify efficiencies and opportunities to improve project performance.
- Ensure trades have the information, materials and resources required to work effectively.
- Proactively identify and remove blockers that could impact productivity or timelines.
- Read and interpret plans, specifications and project documentation.
- Assist with resolving complex technical, scope and stakeholder issues.
- Work collaboratively with Project Managers, support staff and technical teams.




- Maintain a strong site safety culture and compliance with relevant procedures and standards.
- Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders regarding progress, risks and project requirements.
- Build and maintain productive relationships with subcontractors and trade partners.
- Mentor and support trade staff to develop their skills and capabilities.
- Promote a positive, collaborative and accountable workplace culture.

You’ll be an experienced construction professional who is comfortable taking ownership of a site while still being prepared to roll up your sleeves and work alongside the team.
