Shifts are available during the day, anywhere between

9:00am and 5:00pm , with flexibility and the chance to pick up additional hours as they become available.

Immediate Start | Casual & Ongoing Shifts Available MHCS is looking for

compassionate Disability Support Workers

to provide one‑on‑one support to participants living with Autism and complex mental health needs, including schizophrenia.

About the Role

Provide personal care and support with daily hygiene

Assist with meal preparation and cooking

Support participants with light household tasks (tidying, washing dishes, laundry)

Transport participants to and from appointments and activities

Encourage participation in meaningful daily activities and social engagement

Provide reassurance, motivation, and companionship

Follow behaviour support plans and maintain accurate records for the care team

What We’re Looking For

Experience supporting individuals with Autism and complex mental health needs

Ability to work with participants with low and complex support needs

Patient, empathetic, and professional approach

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Female applicants only (due to participant requirements)

Certificate III (or working towards) in Individual Support, Disability, or Community Services

Current First Aid and CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Check and Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

Reliable motor vehicle and current driver’s licence
