Permanent Part-time Medical Receptionist position Central Sydney Heart is a group cardiology practice located in Burwood, located just a short walk to public transport, Westfield Plaza and Burwood Park. We are seeking a friendly, capable medical secretary for an immediate start. This is a permanent part time opportunity for the right person keen and able to work in a fast and efficient environment.

Job tasks and responsibilities

Meeting and greeting of patients

Receiving phone calls in an efficient and timely manner

Booking/rescheduling appointments via the Shexie medical practice program

Invoicing and receipting of consultations

Liaising with Medicare

Liaising with hospital staff and booking procedures

Collecting and distributing of mail

Management of all patient data/medical records

Typing and faxing of letters

Must be able to work proactively, efficiently, professionally and autonomously

Skills and experience





Must havemedical reception experiencein a medical clinic.

Mature and confident in liaising with patients, and medical professionals

Must have experience with Shexie medical software or willing to learn

An excellent command of English (additional language skills is desirable)

Prompt and efficient time management
