About the role We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Retail Sales Assistant to join our team at our Redcliffe QLD 4020 location. This is a casual position that offers the opportunity to develop your retail experience in a family owned and run customer-focused environment. As a Retail Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional service to our customers, maintaining our store appearance, and supporting the smooth operation of our retail outlet. Your contribution will directly impact customer satisfaction and help drive the success of our business.

What you'll be doing

Greeting customers warmly and providing assistance to help them find products that meet their needs

Processing transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems and handling cash, card, and other payment methods

Maintaining an organised, clean, and visually appealing store environment, including stocking shelves and rotating merchandise

Providing product information and recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience

Assisting with inventory management,



including counting stock and identifying items that need reordering

Supporting promotional activities and ensuring displays are set up and maintained according to company standards

Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally and courteously

Collaborating with team members to ensure productive store operations and a positive workplace atmosphere

What we're looking for

Previous retail or customer service experience is highly desirable, though we welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals eager to develop their retail skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse customers

Reliability and punctuality, with the flexibility to work casual hours as required

Basic numeracy skills and comfort using technology, including point-of-sale systems
