Finance Officer

to join our team in

Geraldton . Working closely with the Directors, this role is responsible for the day-to-day financial administration of the business and plays a critical role in supporting the continued success of our Communications, Security and Fire divisions. About the Role

This position is available on a

permanent part-time basis (minimum 0.6 FTE / approximately 22.8 hours per week or 7.6 hours per day) , with flexibility to discuss working arrangements that suit the successful candidate (such as school hours). Key Responsibilities include: Accounts payable and accounts receivable processing Customer invoicing through simPRO and Xero Debtor management and collections Supplier payments and remittances Bank, credit card and balance sheet reconciliations Month-end processing and reporting support Cash flow administration simPRO job costing and invoicing administration Payroll administration Financial record maintenance and reporting support General office and finance administration duties About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate: Previous experience in a bookkeeping,



accounts or finance position Strong practical experience using Xero It is desirable to have existing experience using simPRO or similar job management software Sound understanding of accounts payable and accounts receivable processes Strong reconciliation skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Solid organisational and time management skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Professional written and verbal communication skills The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment. The following will be highly regarded: Experience within telecommunications, security, construction, trade or contracting industries Certificate IV in Accounting and Bookkeeping or an equivalent qualification Experience assisting with BAS preparation What We Offer
