Cleaning Manager Job Overview

The Team Leader / Site Lead is responsible for coordinating theday-to-day activities of a cleaning team while ensuring all scheduled services are completedsafely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role involves supervising cleaners on-site, allocating dailytasks, monitoring productivity,



conducting quality checks, and acting as the first point ofcontact for both team members and clients. You'll work closely with Cleaning Supervisors andOperations Managers to ensure every contract is delivered in accordance with companyprocedures and client expectations.

In addition to leading the team, you'll continue to performcommercial cleaning duties when required, demonstrating best practices and supporting staffduring busy periods. Your ability to motivate others, solve problems, and maintain strongcommunication will contribute directly to the success of both your team and our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Cleaning Team Leader / Site Lead, yourresponsibilities may include:

- Lead and supervise commercialcleaning teams across assigned client sites.
- Allocate daily cleaning dutiesand monitor task completion.
- Perform commercial cleaning alongsideteam members when required.
- Conduct regular qualityinspections to ensure cleaning standards are consistently achieved.
- Train and mentor newemployees in company procedures and secure work practices.
- Ensure all cleaningequipment is maintained and used correctly.
- Monitor stock levels ofcleaning chemicals and consumable supplies.
- Report maintenanceissues, equipment faults, or workplace hazards promptly.




- Communicate effectively withclients regarding service delivery and special requests.
- Complete site reports,inspection checklists, and operational documentation.
- Ensure compliance withWorkplace Health and Safety (WHS) policies.
- Assist with staff schedulingand shift coordination.
- Support OperationsManagers during audits and client inspections.
- Address minor operationalissues before they upscale。
- Promote teamwork,professionalism, and continuous improvement across all sites.
- Your leadership helps ensure every commercial propertyreceives reliable, high-quality cleaning services while maintaining a positive andproductive work environment.
