Based at Essendon Fields and reporting to the Financial Controller, this is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join the growing team at ZEEKR Essendon. About the Role Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will support the finance function across a variety of accounting and administrative responsibilities, including:

Assisting with month-end and year-end processing

Preparing and maintaining account reconciliations, including bank, stock, debtors and creditors

Accurate data entry and maintenance of financial records

Assisting in the preparation of Trial Balance, Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports

Supporting BAS preparation and compliance requirements

Assisting with cash flow reporting and budget tracking

Supporting the preparation of monthly financial statements

Maintaining fixed asset registers and asset management records

Assisting with management reporting and financial analysis





Ensuring financial documentation and records remain accurate and compliant

About You You are a motivated and detail-focused finance professional who enjoys working collaboratively and is keen to develop your accounting career. You'll bring:

Previous experience in a finance, accounts or assistant accountant role

Sound understanding of accounting principles and financial processes

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems

Strong written and verbal communication skills

A proactive attitude and willingness to learn

Progress towards or interest in pursuing CA/CPA studies (highly regarded)

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance or a related discipline (completed or in progress)
