About the role

As our new HR Officer/Advisor, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our HR function by delivering high-quality, hands-on support across all areas of the employee lifecycle. This role is part-time and based at our Rocklea office, offering the chance to be involved in a variety of HR activities within a supportive and collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities





- Lead and support end-to-end recruitment activities including interviewing, shortlisting, and liaising with hiring managers.

- Manage HR administration tasks related to onboarding, probation, variations, and offboarding, including preparation of employment contracts and other key documents.

- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of HR policies, procedures, and compliance with best practices.

- Provide advice and support to managers and employees on HR matters such as employee relations, recruitment, and entitlements.

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date personnel files and HR records in line with legislative requirements.

- Manage workers' compensation reporting and claims processes.

- Oversee employee onboarding and induction programs, ensuring a smooth transition for new hires.

- Contribute to HR projects and company-wide initiatives as needed.

- Assist in the coordination of annual performance reviews, promotion processes, and other national HR programs.

- Work across support functions (including Finance, Payroll, HSE) to ensure a seamless employee experience.

About You

- Minimum 3 years' experience in an HR Officer or Advisor position, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

- Solid understanding of HR legislation, employment relations, and payroll practices.

- Proven experience in managing workplace incidents and workers' compensation claims.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships across all levels.

- Highly organized and able to manage multiple priorities with a adaptable, hands-on approach.

- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or
