Backed by the McNab Group, Supplyhaus is reimagining construction supply by combining builder expertise with specialist product solutions. We deliver façade, joinery and steel packages that bring together quality, innovation and certainty for our clients.
Supplyhaus Steel provides end-to-end structural steel solutions, from design coordination and fabrication through to logistics and installation. As our business continues to grow, we're looking for a driven Steel Project Manager to help deliver exceptional outcomes across our project portfolio.
About the role
As Project Manager, you'll take ownership of multiple structural steel projects from estimating and design coordination through to fabrication, delivery and installation. You'll bring together clients, construction teams, designers, fabricators and subcontractors to deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
This is a hands‑on, commercially focused role where you'll balance the big picture with the detail. What you'll be responsible for
- Project delivery: Manage multiple structural steel projects from pre‑construction through to fabrication, logistics, installation and handover.
- Planning and coordination: Develop project programmes, manage lead times and coordinate drafting, design, procurement and installation activities.
- Commercial performance: Own project budgets, cash flow,
progress claims, variations, cost control and margin forecasting.
- Procurement and suppliers: Manage subcontractor selection and relationships with fabricators, suppliers and freight providers to achieve quality, cost and programme objectives.
- Site installation: Conduct regular site visits, coordinate rigging subcontractors and work with construction teams to resolve issues and maintain progress.
- Quality assurance: Oversee fabrication and installation quality, inspections, documentation and timely defect resolution, including engagement with overseas suppliers where required.
- Safety and compliance: Ensure subcontractors meet HSEQ requirements and safe installation practices are considered throughout design and planning.
- Client relationships: Build strong partnerships with clients and stakeholders, communicating proactively and delivering on commitments.
- Leadership and improvement: Support project teams, drive accountability and continuously improve our systems, processes and delivery standards.
