About Howden
Who are we? Howden is a global insurance group with employee ownership at its heart. Together, we have pushed the boundaries of insurance. We are united by a shared passion and no-limits mindset, and our strength lies in our ability to collaborate as a powerful international team comprised of 24,000 employees spanning over 56 countries. People join Howden for many different reasons, but they stay for the same one: our culture. It’s what sets us apart, and the reason our employees have been turning down headhunters for years. Whatever your priorities – work / life balance, career progression, sustainability, volunteering – you’ll find like-minded people driving change at Howden. Help bring growth to life in a business expanding at pace.
Howden is looking for a commercially minded Project Officer to help lead the structured integration of acquisitions and strategic initiatives across the Pacific region. This is a high-impact opportunity to coordinate complex workstreams, strengthen project governance and help translate our ambitious growth strategy into practical, measurable outcomes.
About Howden
We are part of the Howden Broking Group, the world’s largest privately owned insurance broker, headquartered in London. Since launching in the Pacific region in March 2021, we have grown from a team of three to more than 600 employees across Australia, New Zealand and Fiji – and our growth story is only just beginning.
At Howden, People First is more than a mantra – it shapes how we grow, collaborate and support one another. We believe skills can be taught, but character cannot. You will join a genuinely collegiate and highly engaged team, with the opportunity to contribute ideas,
make a visible impact and build your career alongside a business with ambitious plans.

You will have the opportunity to see the tangible impact of your work as Howden continues to grow toward its 2030 ambitions.
