Job tasks and responsibilities

The company has an immediate opening for a Machine Operator to manufacture flashings and sheetmetal products. This position will primarily be 6am to 1.30pm with occasional overtime.

Skills and experience

- have basic mathematical skills
- be willing to undertake physical tasks
- be able to lift up to 25 kg
- be able to work in a rapid paced environment
- be punctual, reliable and willing to learn
- be able to communicate clearly
- ability to listen and follow instructions
- ability to multitask with high attention to detail
- perform quality checks to ensure all work is to the drawings provided
- take ownership of work
- interact with customers

Desirable but not essential

- experience in the plumbing or building industry
- ability to read technical drawings
- experience is preferrednot essential in order to apply
