The Youth Engagement Officer plays a key role in delivering responsive and inclusive services, programs, and projects that enhance outcomes for young people in Darebin. - Planning, delivering, and evaluating youth programs, projects, and events.
- Engaging with young people through outreach and community-based activities.
- Providing information, support, and referrals to young people and their families.
- Building relationships with schools, community organisations, and service providers.
- Supporting youth participation initiatives and opportunities for young people to have their voices heard.
- Monitoring program outcomes and contributing to continuous service improvement.
- Assisting with administration, reporting, risk management, and program promotion.

- Experience engaging and building positive relationships with young people using youth participation and community development approaches.

- Ability to provide information, support, and referrals to young people in a professional and strengths-based manner.
- Solid communication, stakeholder engagement, and partnership-building skills.
