The Opportunity

We're looking for a driven, energetic and people-focused Membership Consultant who enjoys the challenge of sales and thrives on achieving results.

You’ll be responsible for turning leads and enquiries into new members through proactive prospecting, engaging conversations, club tours and confident sales presentations.

This is a role where your effort directly contributes to your results and earning potential. You’ll be supported by your Club General Manager and wider club team while being given the opportunity to develop your sales skills and build a career within World Gym.

What You’ll Do

Proactively generate leads through outbound calling, follow-up, referrals, local prospecting and other lead-generation activities.

Respond quickly and professionally to new enquiries across phone, email, social media and in-club interactions.

Conduct engaging club tours and understand each prospect's goals, motivations and needs.

Present the right membership solution and confidently ask for the sale.

Follow up consistently with prospects and maximise conversion opportunities.





Work towards and exceed individual sales targets and club KPIs.

Build Relationships

Create genuine connections with prospects and members from the first interaction.

Make every prospective member feel welcomed, understood and confident in their decision.

Build a strong referral network and generate new opportunities through existing members.

Handle objections professionally and turn challenges into opportunities.

Deliver an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales journey.

Be Part of the Club Team

Work closely with the Club General Manager and wider team to achieve club targets.

Support member enquiries and assist with general membership-related matters.

Contribute to club events, promotions and local initiatives.

Support retail sales and develop solid knowledge of products and services.

Represent World Gym professionally within the club and local community.

Create & Promote

Contribute to social media content and campaigns that generate awareness and leads.

Support promotions, events and initiatives designed to drive membership growth.

Look for new and creative ways to generate leads and increase engagement.

Own Your Results

Track and manage your leads, appointments, follow-ups and sales activity.

Use CRM and sales systems consistently and accurately.





Understand your numbers and actively look for ways to improve your conversion.

Participate in sales training, coaching and performance reviews.

Bring energy, consistency and competitiveness to every shift.

About You

You’re someone who enjoys talking to people, isn’t afraid to ask for the sale and gets satisfaction from hitting a target.

You’ll bring:

Previous sales experience, preferably in a target-driven setting.

A strong desire to achieve and exceed sales targets.

Excellent communication, listening and interpersonal skills.

Confidence speaking with prospects both face-to-face and over the phone.

The ability to build rapport quickly and establish genuine relationships.

Resilience and persistence when dealing with objections and rejection.

Strong follow-up and organisational skills.

A competitive, energetic and positive attitude.

A genuine interest in health, fitness and helping people achieve their goals.

The ability to work independently while contributing to a wider team.

Confidence using CRM systems, Microsoft Office and social media platforms.

Flexibility to work across a club roster, including some evenings and weekends.

Fitness industry experience is advantageous, but sales ability, attitude and a willingness to learn are what matter most.
